My Educational and Career Goals
I’m strongly believes in ICT. Even people around me don’t. I can see the world will be surrounded by this technology within 5-10 years. So if we lack of expertise in this field we will lack behind.” The technology which supposedly leads by us is no where among us”.
The competition in this field is very aggressive which it leads to aggressive development. Does it mean that this is only ordinary people? No! It requires extraordinary people to make very quality developments.
It’s all about solving the world problems by inventions. I personally like problem solving especially when it uses logics to solve problems. That’s why I enter this field. I can see myself whenever I strive in programming. Solving problems, developing algorithm and implement it. This is my world.
The reason why I choose IIUM from other university to expand my knowledge is because of its ethical environment. Environment is playing a big role in developing personality. Thus, choosing the right environment to develop yourselves is very important. All of these because to be a great men, we need to have three things which are Attitude, skills, and knowledge. I believe IIUM is a right place to build attitude.
Along the way I realise that in order to produce a very quality person, we need two things, infrastructure and human resource. I can say that IIUM has the good infrastructure, but, since ICT department is a new department in IIUM, its human resource is not that good. I’m considering this as the challenge to face.
If you ask about my strength, I can say that my strength is in communication. Since I like thinking, everything I do I will require reasons, and that makes me good in reasoning. With communication skill plus reasoning skill I can be quite manipulative. I like programming and algorithm construction. With that, it enhanced my problem solving and programming skills. If you ask me about my leadership skill, I will say if I being a leader , I will be bad leader, because I’m result oriented person. Thus, anyone in my team must have initiative and constructive thinking. I like to observe people and try to figure out their reasons in their actions, from it I learn a lots about identifying people’s weakness and strength. I can easily see which people is good in which position. I like motivation, and I have self motivation in me, that makes me always strive for the best, and this inherit me to always motivate my siblings to be the best. Thus, I can say that I have a motivation skill in me.
My weakness is too obvious, I’m bad at writing but I like it. I always have eager to write even people keep on saying my writing is unstructured. I believe I can fix this along my way. The other weakness is that I tend to forget easily. I have short term memory, thus, I need logic to make me remember something. For example, remember people’s name, I have to relate it with anyone I know to remember new name. Otherwise, I will forget it.
I have a very big mission in my life which is to make a change to this world. You can say that it is not specific enough but it is really a mission. How do I achieve this? by grabbing every opportunity and be the best among the best. I want to persue my study in MBA (Master in Business Administration) and I hope Allah will make it easy for me.
